{"id":1640,"date":"2017-05-12T16:51:11","date_gmt":"2017-05-12T14:51:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dnagensee.com\/when-dna-reveals-the-bee-secret\/"},"modified":"2020-10-23T16:52:49","modified_gmt":"2020-10-23T14:52:49","slug":"when-dna-reveals-the-bee-secret","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dnagensee.com\/en\/when-dna-reveals-the-bee-secret\/","title":{"rendered":"When DNA reveals the bee secret !"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Two consecutive victories<\/strong> for Jean-Jacques Perret college in Aix les Bains (Savoie). <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">A group of <strong>school kids<\/strong> focus on the following scientific question\u00a0: Are humans able to make synthetic honey\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Mrs Prissmitzis, their teacher, asked Nicole Giraud, CEO of DNA Gensee to<strong>explain scientifically <\/strong>how, we can identify all the vegetal species visited by the bee. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Students presented their project and they <strong>earned the academic competition <\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0C g\u00e9nial\u00a0\u00bb at Crolles in Is\u00e8re ! They are selected to represent Grenoble academy during the <strong>national final in Paris<\/strong> the 19<sup>th <\/sup>of may.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">We wish them success !<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In addition to this participation they <strong>won a second competition<\/strong> \u201cFaites de la science\u201d !<\/p>\n<p>It was a <strong>pleasure for Nicole Giraud<\/strong> to explain to this motived students how the laboratory works on\u00a0DNA fragments and how it can identify the plant species that are\u00a0present in raw materials, ingredients or final products.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two consecutive victories for Jean-Jacques Perret college in Aix les Bains (Savoie).
