{"id":1752,"date":"2015-10-30T14:39:02","date_gmt":"2015-10-30T13:39:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dnagensee.com\/cosmetic-victories\/"},"modified":"2022-03-23T08:23:48","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T07:23:48","slug":"cosmetic-victories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dnagensee.com\/en\/cosmetic-victories\/","title":{"rendered":"Cosmetic Victories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A prestigious jury has just awarded DNA Gensee 1st Prize in the \u00ab\u00a0Cosmetic Victories\u00a0\u00bb, international competition for innovations that can be used in the perfumery and cosmetic industry.<\/p>\n<p>This competition, supported by the COSMETIC VALLEY-ESSEC Endowment Fund, took place during the \u00ab\u00a0Cosmetic 360\u00a0\u00bb exhibition on 15th and 16th October 2015 in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>This laboratory offers for safety purposes some genetic analysis starting from the DNA of the plants (their gene pool) to identify the plant species, to check the authenticity and traceability.<\/p>\n<p>Because each plant has a unique genetic signature, DNA analyses and researches offered by DNA Gensee provide valuable information to the manufacturers of ingredients and finished products in order to\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 secure and optimise plant raw material supplies,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 detect adulterations and frauds,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 provide evidence of quality, purity and naturalness to final consumers,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 provide guarantees to legal authorities,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 provide marketing teams with rationale and reinforce the image,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 and a lot more\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DNA Gensee has a rare know-how regarding manufactured products, ingredients and final products where the DNA of the plant has been degraded or is present in trace amounts. A single analysis allows us to identify all the plants present in a given product.<br \/>\nThis technique represents a significant progress in the world of analysis and will contribute value to the cosmetic and perfumery industries and to secure the beauty and care products we all use.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>This trophy has been designed by Julien Bernard, member of MMB team.
